Identifikasi bentuk jamak untuk bahasa Indonesia berbeda antara gettext dengan unicode. Mana yang benar? Mana yang lebih sesuai untuk penerjemahan perangkat lunak? Apa implikasi penggunaan bentuk jamak unicode? Kesimpulan saat ini, bentuk jamak dari Unicode lebih sesuai untuk dipakai bagi bahasa Indonesia. Apabila ada perangkat lunak yang ketika dicoba diterjemahkan ke bahasa Indonesia, hanya menampilkan bentuk tunggalnya, maka Anda perlu mengirim laporan bug ke pemelihara perangkat lunak tersebut.
